Östers IF

Östers IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in SEF Trophy. In addition to Östers IF, 35 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Östers IF could be found in Group 4 together with Sollentuna FK, Helsingborgs IF and BK Häcken. Östers IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Sirius FK with 5-7. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over Örebro SK and became the winner of Play off B in SEF Trophy. The area around does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Växjö DFF, Sandsbro AIK, Virestad IF/Grimslövs and Alvesta GIF).
