Hill Spring

Hill Spring was one of 8 clubs from India that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Hill Spring, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Hill Spring could be found in Group 42 together with Trosvik IF 2, IFK Nyköping 1 and Ulricehamns IFK 2. Hill Spring continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 42. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Sigtuna IF with 4-5. In the Final, S. Lanzarote won over Sangre Chilena FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Hill Spring comes from Mumbai which lies approximately 6500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mumbai does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Shakti Sports Academy, Utpal Shanghvi Global School, Prabhavati Padamshi Soni IJC and Bangalore Soccer Academy).
