SKF Italy was one of five clubs from Italy that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to SKF Italy, 187 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof SKF Italy could be found in Group 5 together with Mexico Elite FC, IFK Falköping FF Blå and GAIS. SKF Italy continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Swindon Town FITC with 3-4. In the Final, Ryerson SC West won over PLAYR Academy and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16.
