Umeå IK FF

Umeå IK FF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Gothia Trophy (G17). In addition to Umeå IK FF, 15 other teams from 7 different countries played in Gothia Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Umeå IK FF could be found in Group 4 together with CA Osasuna, Växjö DFF and Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Umeå IK FF made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Sant Gabriel, CE with 1-2. Thereby Umeå IK FF finished second in G17E Play off B during Gothia Cup 2018. Umeå comes from Umeå which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
