FC Deren

FC Deren was the only club from Mongolia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to FC Deren, 195 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof FC Deren could be found in Group 28 together with PAOD and Klippans FF. FC Deren continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 28. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Leiknir 1 with 6-7. In the Final, S. Lanzarote won over Sangre Chilena FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. FC Deren comes from Ulaanbaatar which lies approximately 5900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
