Helsingborgs IF

Helsingborgs IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in SEF Trophy. In addition to Helsingborgs IF, 35 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Helsingborgs IF could be found in Group 4 together with Östers IF, Sollentuna FK and BK Häcken. Helsingborgs IF made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against AIK FF with 0-2. Thereby Helsingborgs IF finished second in SEF Play off A during Gothia Cup 2018. Helsingborgs IF also participated in Boys 15 Swe during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in B15S Play off A, but lost it against BK Häcken with 0-1. Helsingborgs comes from Helsingborg which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Helsingborg does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: ISS Skævinge, Förslövs IF, Fortuna FF, Hittarps IK, Glumslövs FF, Ängelholms FF, Klippans FF, Munka-Ljungby IF, Eskilsminne IF and FC Nordsjælland).
