Herrestads AIF

Herrestads AIF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Herrestads AIF, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Herrestads AIF could be found in Group 3 together with Borensbergs IF/FK, KL Youth Soccer and Santos Laguna CDMX. Herrestads AIF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Dallas Texans Soccer Club with 1-3. In the Final, FC Chambly won over Glumslövs FF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Herrestads AIF comes from Uddevalla which lies approximately 67 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uddevalla does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Vallens IF, Stenungsunds IF, Orust Fotboll, Stala IF, Groheds IF/Ljungskile SK, Trollhättans FK, Fjällbacka IK and IFK Uddevalla).
