IFK Göteborg

In addition to IFK Göteborg, 35 other teams from 13 different countries played in Gothia Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IFK Göteborg could be found in Group 2 together with Hammarby IF FF, Right to Dream and Leeds United. IFK Göteborg made it to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Right to Dream with 0-2. Thereby IFK Göteborg finished second in B17E Play off A during Gothia Cup 2018. IFK Göteborg also participated in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in B17E Play off B, but lost it against IF Elfsborg with 1-2.
