Football Experience

Football Experience was one of 11 clubs from South Africa that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Football Experience, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Football Experience could be found in Group 16 together with Vaksala SK 2, Phoenix Football Academy and Fløya IF. Football Experience continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against JFV Verden/Brunsbrock 1 with 2-4. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Windsor FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Football Experience comes from Johannesburg which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Johannesburg does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Dainfern and University of Pretoria FC).
