San Francisco Aftershocks

San Francisco Aftershocks was one of 44 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to San Francisco Aftershocks, 90 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof San Francisco Aftershocks could be found in Group 11 together with Munka-Ljungby IF, Lerkils IF and Piteå IF 2. San Francisco Aftershocks made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 11. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Nacka FC with 1-5. Thereby San Francisco Aftershocks finished second in G14 Play off A during Gothia Cup 2018. San Francisco Aftershocks comes from San Francisco which lies approximately 8600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around San Francisco does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (NorCal Premier PDP, San Francisco Seals and Marin FC).
