Höörs IS

Höörs IS was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Höörs IS, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Höörs IS could be found in Group 32 together with Breidablik 2, Lyn Fotball, Hisingsbacka FC and Färjestadens GoIF. Höörs IS continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Breidablik 1 with 5-7. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SKF Bulgaria and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Höörs IS comes from HÖÖR which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around HÖÖR does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Trollenäs IF, Hörby FF, Vinslövs IF, IFK Hässleholm, IF Lödde, Klippans FF, Kristianstads DFF, FC Hessleholm, Furulunds IK and Hässleholms IF).
