Galatasaray Lisesi

Galatasaray Lisesi was one of three clubs from Türkiye that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Galatasaray Lisesi, 148 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Galatasaray Lisesi could be found in Group 17 together with Mölnlycke IF, University of Pretoria FC 2 and IFK Viksjö 2. Galatasaray Lisesi continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Assega Sport Academy with 1-2. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Windsor FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Galatasaray Lisesi comes from istanbul which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Galatasaray Lisesi, the club SKF Turkey does also originate from the area around istanbul.
