Sundsvalls DFF

Sundsvalls DFF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Sundsvalls DFF, 68 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Sundsvalls DFF could be found in Group 14 together with Enebybergs IF 1, Lindome GIF and KFV Segeberg. Sundsvalls DFF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Vålerenga Fotball with 4-6. In the Final, Kungsbacka DFF won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Sundsvalls DFF comes from Sundsvall which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundsvall does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Heffnersklubban BK, Kubikenborgs IF, IFK Timrå, Svartviks IF, Matfors IF and GIF Sundsvall).
