In addition to BK Astrio, 97 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof BK Astrio could be found in Group 13 together with Enskede IK 1, NSA and TuS Kirchdorf. BK Astrio continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Värnamo with 2-4. In the Final, Tiller 1 won over Valur and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. BK Astrio also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in G15 Play off A, but lost it against Stabæk Fotball 1 with 2-4.
