Xghajra Tornados FC

Xghajra Tornados FC was the only club from Malta that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Xghajra Tornados FC, 195 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Xghajra Tornados FC could be found in Group 24 together with Nordhordland BK 2, Öjeby IF and Kona Crush. Xghajra Tornados FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against FC Chambly with 0-4. In the Final, FC Chambly won over Glumslövs FF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Xghajra Tornados FC comes from XGHAJRA which lies approximately 2400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
