Djurgårdens IF

In addition to Djurgårdens IF, 35 other teams from 13 different countries played in Gothia Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Djurgårdens IF could be found in Group 3 together with Örebro SK, FC Tokyo and Deportivo Alaves. Djurgårdens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kalmar FF with 0-1. In the Final, TikiTaka Academy won over FC Cavalier and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Trophy (B17). Djurgårdens IF also participated in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2017. They won Play off B, after beating Jönköpings Södra IF in the final with 2-1.
