Søndre Land IL

Søndre Land IL was one of 56 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Søndre Land IL, 68 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Søndre Land IL could be found in Group 8 together with Minnesota Thunder Academy 1, Göteborgs DFF and Upsala IF. Søndre Land IL continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Rönninge Salem Fotboll with 1-2. In the Final, Kristianstads DFF won over Medkila IL and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Other than Søndre Land IL, the club FK Gjøvik-Lyn does also originate from the area around .
