Piteå IF DFF

Piteå IF DFF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Gothia Trophy (G17). In addition to Piteå IF DFF, 15 other teams from 7 different countries played in Gothia Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Piteå IF DFF could be found in Group 3 together with FC Rosengård, Sant Gabriel, CE and NorCal Premier PDP. Piteå IF DFF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Umeå IK FF with 4-5. In the Final, Sant Gabriel, CE won over Umeå IK FF and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Trophy (G17). Piteå DFF comes from Piteå which lies approximately 980 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Piteå does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (FC Norrsken, Storfors AIK, Munksund/Skuthamn SK, Öjeby IF, MSSK and Piteå IF).
