Lidköpings FK

Lidköpings FK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Lidköpings FK, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Lidköpings FK could be found in Group 18 together with Kållered SK, Charterhouse School and Ryerson SC. Lidköpings FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Lindome GIF with 0-1. In the Final, Ryerson SC West won over PLAYR Academy and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Lidköpings FK comes from Lidköping which lies approximately 110 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lidköping does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Skara FC and Hällekis IF).
