IF Elfsborg

In addition to IF Elfsborg, 35 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof IF Elfsborg could be found in Group 6 together with Jönköpings Södra IF, Alingsås IF and Vasalunds IF. IF Elfsborg continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Helsingborgs IF with 0-2. In the Final, AIK FF won over Helsingborgs IF and became the winner of Play off A in SEF Trophy. IF Elfsborg also participated in Boys 15 Swe during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in B15S Play off A, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 1-2.
