Paris-Jilo

Paris-Jilo was one of 13 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Paris-Jilo, 137 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Paris-Jilo could be found in Group 21 together with San Faustino, IFK Hässleholm 1 and Angered MBIK. Paris-Jilo continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Dallas Texans Soccer Club with 0-3. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna won over Dallas Texans Soccer Club and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Paris-Jilo comes from MEXICO which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MEXICO does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Mexico Elite FC, CA Intercups Mexico, CLUB REFORMA, Intercups MX, A.S. México, Halcones Mexico and Santos Laguna CDMX).
