Heggedal IL

Heggedal IL was one of 56 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Heggedal IL, 137 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Heggedal IL could be found in Group 12 together with Prep Schools Lions Green, Altona 93 2 and KF Velebit. Heggedal IL continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna Röd with 0-5. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna won over Dallas Texans Soccer Club and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Heggedal comes from Heggedal which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Heggedal does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Lyn Fotball, Lørenskog IF, Skjetten Fotball, FK Fjellhamar, HSV, Oppsal IF, Sætre IF Graabein, Øvrevoll/Hosle IL, Stabæk Fotball and Vålerenga Fotball).
