Djurgårdens IF

In addition to Djurgårdens IF, 15 other teams from 7 different countries played in Gothia Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Djurgårdens IF could be found in Group 2 together with Stabæk Fotball, Team Odense Q and CCL Soccer Club. Djurgårdens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Umeå IK FF with 0-3. In the Final, Sant Gabriel, CE won over Umeå IK FF and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Trophy (G17). Djurgårdens IF also participated in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2017. They won Play off B, after beating Jönköpings Södra IF in the final with 2-1.
