FC Seefeld/Witikon

FC Seefeld/Witikon was one of two clubs from Switzerland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to FC Seefeld/Witikon, 187 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof FC Seefeld/Witikon could be found in Group 24 together with Ryerson SC West, Qviding FIF and Vaksala SK. FC Seefeld/Witikon continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Helena Romanes School with 0-3. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. FC Seefeld/Witikon comes from Zürich which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than FC Seefeld/Witikon, the club FC Neumünster Zürich does also originate from the area around Zürich.
