IK Tun

IK Tun was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to IK Tun, 68 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof IK Tun could be found in Group 10 together with IFK Göteborg, Hertzöga BK and FC St. Pauli Hamburg. IK Tun continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kristianstads DFF with 5-6. In the Final, Kristianstads DFF won over Medkila IL and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Tun comes from Nyköping which lies approximately 310 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nyköping does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (IFK Nyköping and Nyköpings BIS).
