Mariebergs IK

Mariebergs IK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Mariebergs IK, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Mariebergs IK could be found in Group 6 together with FBK Karlstad, Klepp IL and FC Rahoveri. Mariebergs IK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FC Bordeaux Aquitaine with 0-1. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. The area around does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Frövi IK, Adolfsbergs IK, IFK Kumla, BK Forward, Örebro SK Söder, Latorps IF, Karlslunds IF HFK, Örebro SK, Arboga Södra IF and IFK Lindesberg/GSBK).
