IFK Hjo

IFK Hjo was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to IFK Hjo, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof IFK Hjo could be found in Group 8 together with Milano United Football Club, Köping FF and SSC Hagen Ahrensburg. IFK Hjo continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kungsladugårds BK with 0-2. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. IFK Hjo comes from Hjo which lies approximately 150 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hjo does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (IFK Tidaholm, Skultorps IF, Tidaholms GIF, Skövde AIK, IFK Skövde FK, Våmbs IF and Våmbs IF/Skultorps IF).
