Hällekis IF

Hällekis IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Hällekis IF, 97 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Hällekis IF could be found in Group 5 together with IFK Lindesberg/GSBK, Kvarnsvedens IK and Alta IF 1. Hällekis IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Dösjöbro/Vellinge with 0-7. In the Final, Dösjöbro/Vellinge won over Stord Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Hällekis comes from Hällekis which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hällekis does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Skultorps IF, Skara FC, Skövde AIK, IFK Skövde FK, Lidköpings FK, Våmbs IF and Våmbs IF/Skultorps IF).
