FC Teutonia 05

FC Teutonia 05 was one of 58 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to FC Teutonia 05, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof FC Teutonia 05 could be found in Group 33 together with Alingsås IF, Silsden AFC and Spårvägens FF. FC Teutonia 05 continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against PAOD with 2-3. In the Final, Ryerson SC West won over PLAYR Academy and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. FC Teutonia 05 comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hamburg does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Walddörfer SV, SV Eichede, FC Este 2012, Wedeler TSV, SC Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg, Rahlstedter, SC, SV Rugenbergen, TSV Buchholz 08, FC St. Pauli Hamburg and Ellerau, SC).
