TuS Schwachhausen

TuS Schwachhausen was one of 58 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to TuS Schwachhausen, 68 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof TuS Schwachhausen could be found in Group 13 together with Ornäs BK, Adolfsbergs IK and Linghems SK/Tallboda IF. TuS Schwachhausen continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Nittorps IK with 0-5. In the Final, Kungsbacka DFF won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Schwachhausen comes from Bremen which lies approximately 550 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bremen does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Blumenthaler SV, TSV Uesen, JSG Kawu, JFV Aller-Weser, JSG Baden/Etelsen, JFV Verden/Brunsbrock and ATSV Scharmbeckstotel).
