Ås IL

Ås IL was one of 56 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Ås IL, 137 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Ås IL could be found in Group 29 together with SK Augur, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris Blue and Askims IK. Ås IL continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ängelholms FF 2 with 3-4. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over IFK Lidingö 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Ås comes from Ås which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ås does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Lyn Fotball, Lørenskog IF, Lillestrøm SK, Skjetten Fotball, FK Fjellhamar, HSV, Oppsal IF, Sætre IF Graabein, Rælingen FK and Øvrevoll/Hosle IL).
