Värnamo Södra FF

Värnamo Södra FF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Värnamo Södra FF, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Värnamo Södra FF could be found in Group 21 together with Hong Kong FC, Gunnilse IS, Knivsta IK 2 and SKF Bulgaria. Värnamo Södra FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Stångebro United 1 with 0-4. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SKF Bulgaria and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Värnamo Södra comes from Värnamo which lies approximately 140 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Värnamo does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (IFK Värnamo and Ljungby IF).
