Hässleholms IF

Hässleholms IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Hässleholms IF, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Hässleholms IF could be found in Group 14 together with Samaya FA, CCL Soccer Club, IF Skarp and Ersmarks IK. Hässleholms IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Yeovil Town FC with 0-2. In the Final, Ryerson SC West won over PLAYR Academy and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Hässleholms comes from Hässleholm which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hässleholm does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IFK Osby, Kristianstad FC, Hörby FF, IFK Knislinge, Vinslövs IF, IFK Hässleholm, Markaryds IF, Broby IF, Kristianstad United FS and Kristianstads DFF).
