Gammelgårdens IF

Gammelgårdens IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Gammelgårdens IF, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Gammelgårdens IF could be found in Group 16 together with FC Chambly, Mölnlycke IF and Hong Kong FC. Gammelgårdens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Åhus HBK with 0-3. In the Final, FC Chambly won over Glumslövs FF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Gammelgårdens IF also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in B14 Play off B, but lost it against Gorge with 1-3. Gammelgårdens comes from Kalix which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
