IF VP Uppsala

IF VP Uppsala was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to IF VP Uppsala, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof IF VP Uppsala could be found in Group 22 together with Euro Sports Brasil, JFV Verden/Brunsbrock, Kulladals FF 1 and Prep Schools District Bravo. IF VP Uppsala continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against AF Alcoitão with 1-2. In the Final, FC Chambly won over Glumslövs FF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. IF VP Uppsala also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/64 Final in B14 Play off B, but lost it against Halvorstorps IS with 1-4. VP Uppsala comes from Uppsala which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uppsala does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Bälinge IF, Sunnersta AIF, Storvreta IK, IF VP/UIF, Upsala IF, Danmarks IF, IK Fyris, Vaksala SK, Hagby IK and Märsta IK).
