HGH Halmstad

HGH Halmstad was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to HGH Halmstad, 117 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof HGH Halmstad could be found in Group 3 together with Djurgårdens IF, IFK Timrå and CA Osasuna. HGH Halmstad continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Dallas Texans Soccer Club with 0-2. In the Final, Hammarby IF FF won over Lerums IS and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. HGH Halmstad comes from Harplinge which lies approximately 120 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Harplinge does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (IS Halmia, Halmstads BK and BK Astrio).
