Enköpings SK

Enköpings SK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Enköpings SK, 117 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Enköpings SK could be found in Group 2 together with Högbo AIK, Lira BK and San Diego Soccer Club. Enköpings SK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FC USA Philadelphia with 0-1. In the Final, Hammarby IF FF won over Lerums IS and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Enköpings SK comes from Enköping which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Enköping does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Barkarö SK, Irsta IF, Sunnersta AIF, IF VP/UIF, Upsala IF, Västerås IK, IK Fyris, Hagby IK, Västerås SK Fotboll and Västerås SK Ungdom).
