In addition to Makati FC, 195 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Makati FC could be found in Group 11 together with FK Lillehammer 1, Torslanda IK and Hittarps IK 1. Makati FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Global Premier Soccer FC Bayern with 0-3. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SKF Bulgaria and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Makati FC also participated in Boys 13 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/32 Final in B13 Play off A, but lost it against Örebro Syrianska IF with 2-4.
