Denali Futbol

Denali Futbol was one of 44 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Denali Futbol, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Denali Futbol could be found in Group 23 together with Varbergs GIF FK, Torslanda IK 1 and Helena Romanes School. Denali Futbol continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Mexico Elite FC with 1-4. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Denali Futbol also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/32 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against Kallhälls FF with 2-4. Denali Futbol comes from Scarsdale which lies approximately 6000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Denali Futbol, the club FC Internacional does also originate from the area around Scarsdale.
