Sandsbro AIK

Sandsbro AIK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Sandsbro AIK, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Sandsbro AIK could be found in Group 15 together with Prep Schools District Blue, Samaya FA, Sickla IF and Kareby/Kode. Sandsbro AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna BP04-23U with 0-5. In the Final, S. Lanzarote won over Sangre Chilena FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Sandsbro AIK comes from Växjö which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Växjö does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Växjö DFF, Alvesta GIF and Östers IF).
