Märsta IK

Märsta IK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Märsta IK, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Märsta IK could be found in Group 9 together with Svenljunga IK, Saint Martinois and FC EUROPA Football Academy. Märsta IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against AC Bouarfa with 1-2. In the Final, AP Top 54 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Märsta comes from Märsta which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Märsta does also provide 48 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Sunnersta AIF, Storvreta IK, IF Brommapojkarna, Kungsängens IF, IF VP/UIF, BK Sport Mix, FK Bromma, Hammarby IF FF, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and Gröndals IK).
