Tidaholms GIF

Tidaholms GIF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Tidaholms GIF, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Tidaholms GIF could be found in Group 15 together with IFK Kristinehamn, Hong Kong FC and JSG Baden/Etelsen. Tidaholms GIF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against AYSES with 1-6. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Tidaholms GIF comes from Tidaholm which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tidaholm does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Falköpings KIK, IFK Tidaholm, Skultorps IF, Mullsjö IF, IFK Falköping FF, IFK Skövde FK, Våmbs IF, Våmbs IF/Skultorps IF and IFK Hjo).
