Gideonsbergs IF 1

In addition to the two Gideonsbergs teams, 96 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Gideonsbergs IF 1 could be found in Group 6 together with FC Staffanstorp, Walddörfer SV and Alta IF 2. Gideonsbergs IF 1 continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Linköping Kenty DFF 2 with 0-1. In the Final, Dösjöbro/Vellinge won over Stord Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Gideonsbergs IF also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in G15 Play off A, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna with 0-1.
