In addition to Del Mar Sharks, 40 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Del Mar Sharks could be found in Group 3 together with Lørenskog IF, Vaksala SK and FC Minsk. Del Mar Sharks made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Global Premier Soccer FC Bayern with 0-3. Thereby Del Mar Sharks finished second in G13 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2018.
