Vellinge FF

Vellinge FF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Vellinge FF, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Vellinge FF could be found in Group 7 together with CD Inter Vista Alegre, Stugsunds IK and SC Weitmar 45. Vellinge FF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Avesta AIK with 1-2. In the Final, FC Chambly won over Glumslövs FF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Vellinge comes from Vellinge which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vellinge does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Husie IF, LB07, Hyllie IK, IF Lödde, Bjärreds IF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, V. Ingelstad IS, Uppåkra IF, IFK Klagshamn and FC Rosengård).
