Högbo AIK

Högbo AIK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Högbo AIK, 117 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Högbo AIK could be found in Group 2 together with Enköpings SK, Lira BK and San Diego Soccer Club. Högbo AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Triangelns IK with 0-2. In the Final, Glumslövs FF won over Vinslövs IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Högbo AIK comes from Sandviken which lies approximately 420 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sandviken does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Sandvikens AIK, Norrham IF, Sandvikens IF, Hille IF, Gävle GIK/FK and Bk Legend).
