Skanör-Falsterbo IF

Skanör-Falsterbo IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Skanör-Falsterbo IF, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Skanör-Falsterbo IF could be found in Group 5 together with UKS RONA 03, CD Inter Vista Alegre and Näsets SK 1. Skanör-Falsterbo IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IF Väster with 0-1. In the Final, S. Lanzarote won over Sangre Chilena FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Skanör-Falsterbo comes from Skanör which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skanör does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Husie IF, LB07, Hyllie IK, Bjärreds IF, V. Ingelstad IS, Uppåkra IF, IFK Klagshamn, Vellinge FF, FC Rosengård and GIF Nike).
