Åhus HBK

Åhus HBK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Åhus HBK, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Åhus HBK could be found in Group 14 together with Elite Football FC, Belgica 1 and St. Paul Blackhawks. Åhus HBK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Glumslövs FF with 0-2. In the Final, FC Chambly won over Glumslövs FF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Åhus comes from Åhus which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Åhus does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Kristianstad FC, Sölvesborgs GIF, IFK Knislinge, Vinslövs IF, Kristianstad United FS, Kristianstads DFF and Nosaby IF).
