Mariehem SK

Mariehem SK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Mariehem SK, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Mariehem SK could be found in Group 38 together with Sporting Club First Touch, KFV Segeberg and Mölndal Fotboll. Mariehem SK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 38. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Keflavik 3 with 3-4. In the Final, S. Lanzarote won over Sangre Chilena FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Mariehem SK comes from Umeå which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (MSK, IFK Umeå, Umeå Södra FF, Sandåkerns SK, Ersmarks IK, Umedalens IF and Umeå IK FF).
