FC Bordeaux Aquitaine

FC Bordeaux Aquitaine was one of 20 clubs from France that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to FC Bordeaux Aquitaine, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof FC Bordeaux Aquitaine could be found in Group 9 together with Scandia United SA, SSV Buchholz 1922 e.V. and Näsets SK. FC Bordeaux Aquitaine continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Milano United Football Club with 0-1. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. FC Bordeaux Aquitaine also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the Semi final in B18 Play off B, but lost it against Project Playground FC with 1-2. FC Bordeaux Aquitaine comes from BORDEAUX which lies approximately 1700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around BORDEAUX does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Merignac, S.A and F.C. Martignas Illac).
